It is recommended that you take out extra insurance on your parcel, if the contents of your parcel exceeds the normal $ insurance coverage given by Australia Post on some parcels. This extra cost will be added to your delivery costs if you opt for this extra insurance on your parcel. You will need to advise us that you want this extra coverage on your goods, prior to us posting your parcel/s. Please send us a message or email prior to us posting your order for this to be added. We cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred in transit caused by Australia Post.

ALL DELIVERIES ARE ON A QUOTE BASED ON WEIGHT AND LOCATION.

Refer to above Postage Australia Domestic – this shows up to 5kg only. If your order is above 5 Kg, or you have several parcels, the postage will be worked out on size, weight and location from Australia Post. We’ll contact you with your postage costs after you have placed your order. We will send you a request for payment for your freight. The freight costs will always need to be paid, in addition to your goods order, before we dispatch any of your items. Tracking number will be given by Australia Post – we can forward this information to you so you can track your order after it is despatched to you.

If you fail to pay us for the freight amount requested, we will not be able to send your order. We will also need to arrange a refund to you of your order amount, less a restocking fee of $15.00.

Dispatch means to SEND your order out, and does not mean the day it will be delivered to you.

If you require a signature on each parcel as proof your order was delivered, you will need to advise us prior to Stylish Pastimes posting your parcel/s. This cost may be added to your postage costs as required.

Delivery with Safe Drop – Orders will be left in a safe place if there is no one at the delivery address to sign for the delivery. If the delivery cannot be left in safe place, a calling card will be left in your mailbox advising of the Australia Post location where you can collect delivery.

All our standard delivery parcels are delivered via Australia Post Eparcel and Eparcel Express Networks. 

Your order will be despatched pending credit card authorisation, verification and availability of stock. If an item has become unavailable we reserve the right to refund you the amount for this item/s. We accept  Visa, Mastercard, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and Paypal on all our products. EFT and Paypal must be received into our bank before goods will be despatched.

Please note Australia Post advise the following times as a guide for standard delivery from the date of despatch. Please note this is a guide only and it does not take into account peak period deliveries.

Delivery is via Australia Post on business days and not weekends or public holidays. 
  • Brisbane Metro areas: 4 – 6 business days. 2 – 3 business day delivery if express option is chosen*
  • Other Capitals, NSW, VIC and SA Regional areas: 5 – 8 business days. 3 – 4 business day delivery if express option is chosen*
  • WA, TAS, NT, other Remote state areas and Remote QLD areas: 8 – 12 business days. 4 – 7 business day delivery if express option is chosen*

We reserve the right at our discretion to ensure your parcel is packed carefully and arrives as soon as possible.  Express deliveries always take precedence.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. strikes, floods etc.,) or for any lost parcels. We always take the upmost care in sending our parcels, but because delivery is with a third party, and is out of our control, we recommend you add extra insurance on your parcel/s prior to us posting to you and ask for signature upon delivery. These will cost extra but can safeguard you against lost or damaged goods.

*Please Note: During sale or promotional events, delivery may take longer than the stated delivery times. We always work hard at despatching orders on time, but deliveries may be delayed by Australia Post due to COVID-19 or other reasons. Australia Post are experiencing delivery delays at the moment with standard deliveries with increased parcel volumes and COVID-19 safe requirements. As a result of this, they are unable to guarantee their usual delivery times. For faster delivery during these times, choose ExPress Delivery.

For the latest delivery times, from Australia Post, refer to Australia Post web page for updates on deliveries. These may change from time to time depending on a variety of issues. ie. floods, COVID-19 health and safety requirements, record parcel volumes, fewer flights etc., use your tracking number to follow where your package is currently. 

PLEASE NOTE: If a parcel is not collected from the post office or undelivered due to an incorrect address being provided by the customer a return cost of $13.50 will be charged to the customer – this is an Australia Post charge, not a Stylish Pastimes charge, for a “return to sender” parcel. Should you require a returned order resent to you, an additional payment will need to be made for postage. The amount for postage will be the postage cost to send the parcel again + return to sender charge. You will be contacted for payment before re-delivery will be made. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the correct shipping address is entered into the system at the time of ordering and to claim your item ASAP.

If your order is getting shipped to a company, please ensure you put the company name in the company name shipping address field or Australia Post may refuse delivery.
